Jeffrey Hulum III and a young boy placing American flags at a military cemetery headstone on Memorial Day.

I’m running for Congress because South Mississippi deserves representation that shows up when it counts.

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked directly with families, seniors, and young people across the Coast, often during moments when they were facing unexpected hardship.

To me, representation starts with listening, speaking honestly, and focusing on solutions that make life better for the people whose well-being I’m entrusted with. Public service should be about improving people’s lives, not scoring partisan points. It’s time to move past the division tearing our country apart. The real fight isn’t between Republicans and Democrats, it’s between those at the top who benefit from dysfunction and the hardworking people at the bottom who feel the impact of it every day.

I will look beyond media-driven narratives and political noise to focus on the realities faced by working families across South Mississippi, not the interests of wealthy donors or national power brokers.

These aren’t controversial Democratic viewpoints.

These are Mississippi values.

  • Families deserve economic stability and affordable essentials.

  • Seniors deserve dignity and support as costs continue to rise.

  • Veterans deserve accessible, reliable care and a government that honors their service.

South Mississippi deserves representation that will fight for them:

  • Young people deserve the chance to build a future right here at home.

  • Everyone in Mississippi deserves access to affordable healthcare, quality public education and the guarantee that working hard means success for families.
